Monty and Sawyer!

For the second year in a row, we have participated in the Hinesburg Nursery School's Winter Waffle Breakfast and Silent Auction...an event run by the parent's of the nursery school...that's us! It was a wonderful event the entire community looks forward to every February! With great auction items, a yummy breakfast and fun activities for the kids...it's an event we now look forward to every year! Wondering why I have been SO behind in the blog these days??? Just one of the 101 reasons...All worth it! This year for Waffle Breakfast Ken and I dove right in: PR for event, getting auction items, set up, mascott coordinator and clean up crew!

From Basketball up to the Mountain!

Cole looking cool at Smuggs!
Sawyer!

Cole at the Burton Park at Smuggs

Cole with his buddy Oliver

This picture cracks me up...I can just picture these two in about 10 years!

Basketball at 9:00 and then off to Smuggler's Notch for some riding! Cole and Sawyer both are strapped in on boards this season and having a blast learning how to snowboard! Not the best winter for snow in New England...but many mild days to be outside and learning the basics! We will take it!

Cole's Kindergarten Basketball

Cole is now doing Kindergarten basketball through the recreation program in Hinesburg. He has progressed so much in just a few weeks with all his skills...fun to watch!

Christmas Craft Dessert

As you can imagine...this little Christmas craft dessert was a BIG hit with two little boys! We took sugar cones, frosted them with green frosting, add a few green, white and red sprinkles and walla!

Two Little Elves help Decorate at Nana and Nono's

Llama, Llama!

The boys have been fans of Anna Dewdney for years. Cole was one when we started reading her first llama book: Llama Llama Red Pajama. When we found out she was coming to Hinesburg for a book signing we knew it was an event we could not miss!

Christmas Tree

We had a wonderful family day picking out our Christmas Tree at White's Tree Farm in Jericho, VT. It has been a tradition to take the kids to the tree farm to pick out our family tree. The trees were very small this year, but Cole and Sawyer found one to bring home to help us celebrate the Christmas season.
