We had a wonderful visit with Brendan, Marnie and Natalie Robinson while in North Carolina. Cole enjoyed paling around with Natalie. Brendan and Natalie brought us to a local science museum where the kids where mesmerised by the dinosaurs.

When Cole caught a glimpse of this activity he was sure he wanted to try it out. Ken and I were a little surprised as he tends to be cautious about trying new things. He barely made the weight requirement of 35 pounds. They strapped him in with a proud grin on his face and he was off.

Meeting Uncle Russell and Aunt Kathy in North Carolina!

We have not seen Ken's Uncle Russell and Aunt Kathy since our wedding (June 2004). When we decided to visit North Carolina we were excited to catch up and introduce them to Cole and Sawyer for the first time. We spent the day at the North Carolina Balloon Fest, playing by the shore of Lake Norman and enjoying a yummy Mexican Lunch!

Discovery Place...Charlotte, NC

Rick and Tanya found some great activities to keep us busy with the kids while visiting them in North Carolina. Our adventure today brought us to a great science museum with activities for all of us. Cole and Sawyer played hard in the children's area while Daddy and Rick enjoyed learning all about Pirates!

Lazy Five Ranch

We arrived in North Carolina yesterday safe and sound...very happy to report we survived the airplane ride with Sawyer. Now we can relax and enjoy our time with friends and family. Rick and Tanya (good friends of Ken's from college) arranged for us to visit the Lazy Five Ranch for a hay ride where we had a chance to see animals up close and give them treats out of our hands.
