MUD!

I never really understood "mud season" until we moved to the outskirts of town two years ago...I get it now. Mud so thick and oozy your not sure you will make it up the road, so deep...the school bus won't even come up and so messy...the kids LOVE it!

Invitation to Tea Party

Teddy Bear Tea Party at Gardner's Supply

This morning we ventured out to Gardner's Supply in Williston for the monthly Kid's Club event...this month...Teddy Bear Tea Party in the conservatory. It was a great event! The kids enjoyed a tea party with a pal of their choice in tow. Sawyer brought his monkey and Cole brought a teddy bear. They enjoyed a snack and "tea" while the coordinator of the event read them a story: The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear. They learned how plants help our environment and help make us healthy and happy. Each child painted a terracotta pot and picked a special plant to take home for the pot. A big thanks to Gardner's Supply for making events like this possible for our kids!

Visit to Ben and Jerry's!

Left the mountain for the afternoon and headed to Waterbury and Stowe...no trip to Waterbury is complete without a stop a Ben and Jerry's.

Up the LIft...for the first time!

On the lift for the first time with instructor Pete Picard

Cole had a great lesson at Bolton today and progressed to riding the lift...he was beyond excited and proud. Not bad considering they are not suppose to start riding lessons at Bolton until they are six...I assured them he was ready! He proved himself quickly and moved up to the group riding the lift.

Sleepy Brothers!

Vacation week this for the kids and we headed up to The Summit at Bolton Valley for the week. The kids think staying overnight in a hotel is a real treat! It certainly was an adventure for all of us even though we were very close to home. We ventured up after Ken was finished with work on Friday night in some light snow showers turned blizzard at Bolton...they got 2 feet of snow and we got stuck...not once, but twice trying to get up to the resort! It has been a fun week up a the mountain with riding, swimming and no routines! Grandma Cudney even spent 3 nights with us! These pictures were taken after a day with Nana and Grandma at the mountain...they spent 3 hours in the pool! Looks like a good tired to me!

I was so happy Valentine's Day fell on a Tuesday this year so I could see all the Valentine's Day fun at the boy's schools! I always looked forward to Valentine's Day as a child and the excitment of exchanging Valentine's with friends at school...not much has changed 30 years later!

Valentine Cake...a little early!

We celebrated Valentine's Day a little early at our house because we had this wonderful cake to dig into and we knew Daddy would be away for work on the big day. We were the high bidders on this Valentine's Sweet Heart Red Velvet Cake at the Winter Waffle Breakfast and Silent Auction. It was almost to pretty to cut into! Happy Valentine's Day to my three loves...Ken, Cole and Sawyer!
