Hinesburg Nursery School!

Cole is starting at the Hinesburg Nursery School (HNS) in September! We are excited to have him attend this private preschool in town as a way of meeting kids that will be in his Kindergarten class next year...how is that possible??? An unusually warm night at the end of August...mid 90's...made it for a very messy, but fun, ice cream party!

Volunteer Fireman's Hall & Museum of Kingston, NY!

We have been wanting to bring the boys to the Fireman's Museum of Kingston for sometime, but it has never worked out until this trip. The boys enjoyed all the fireman memorabilia and climbing in the antique fire trucks!

At Camp with the Juiffre's!

Our good friend's Tom and Nicole have been hard at work for over one year now at a camp they purchased on the Georgia Shore in Vermont. They have spent countless hours renovating the camp and are at a point where they now have some free time to enjoy it with friends. Thanks guys for a fun night...boy do we all have a lot of boys!

Aunt Squeak and Stella!

We headed to New Hampshire for a day with Aunt Squeak (visiting from Florida) and Erika and Stella (visiting from California). We were joined by others including Nana and her good friend Gail, Eleanor, Doris, Kristian and even a quick visit from Uncle Bill! It was nice weather to enjoy the lake. As always, we settled right into the water front area with all our beach toys, floats, kayaks and other things...looked like we would be vacationing for the week, but nope just the day. The waterfront was so scattered about with stuff some by passer actually stopped because they thought there was a yard sale...boy did we all get a chuckle out of that! The item that caught there eye was our little red wagon that I use all summer to cart stuff to the beach, picnics and concerts...selling it...not a chance!

Just a few pictures from Lyla's Birthday at North Beach! The boys play with Lyla when they are at Nana and Nono's the days that I work...she lives right next door! They had fun playing with Lyla and all of her little and big friends.

The Ocean!

Cole has been very curious about the ocean this summer and asking to see it. He has seen the ocean while in Florida, but to young to remember. We were excited to surprise him with an unplanned trip to Rye Beach on the New Hampshire seacoast. Initially the wonderful imagination of a four year old took over for the first hour as he was convinced there were sharks at the beach! Once he got over that...he had a wonderful time exploring the shore finding shells, seaweed, hermit crabs and what ever other treasures appeared. Sawyer loved the ocean from the moment his big blue eyes caught a glimpse.

Santa's Village!

For the second year in a row we have taken the boys to http://www.santasvillage.com/ and we just can't say enough good things about it! It is just the right size to cover everything in one day, very clean and lots of shade! Cole loves that he is big enough to go on every ride...and we did! He loves the roller coaster and went on it multiple times! I'm sure we will be heading back again in 2011!
