Wordless Wednesday...Say cheese Sawyer!

Sawyer the Painter!

some of the hired help

Sawyer checks out the orange room

Ken and Sawyer in the kitchen...plum!

Sawyer was really excited about the paint colors!

The drive from Burlington to Hinesburg often put Sawyer to sleep, but today, Cole was the one to fall asleep and Sawyer had a blast seeing all the changes in the house with mommy and daddy.

A Peak Inside!

Let a 3 year old pick a color and this is what happens!

Cole, Daddy and Sawyer in the family room!

It looks like dill pickle to me.

Picking out carpet for the bedrooms

As you can tell...Cole is happy about his orange room!

The Final Count Down!

We have spent about 8 weeks living with Nana and Nona and now will spend the next 8 weeks house sitting while our new home is being finished. Cole and I made a paper chain today...one link for each day! Each morning we will take a link of the chain off until there is only one left. Our hope is that the last paper link will be moving day...no pressure Sam. If everything continues to as planned, we hope the house will be done at the beginning of April!

Taking Care of Dubie!

We are at our last "stop" before our home is done! The boys are loving the cat of the house...Dubie! Dubie now has company while he looks out the window in the morning!

Cole at Uncle Bud's

We traveled to Hurley this weekend to see our New York family. We are grateful to have Uncle Bud's house to call home when we stay in New York. The boys have many great memories of play time with Grandma, Josh, Chris, Gary, Uncle Bud and Deloris from our trips to Hurley, New York.

Sawyer Hits the Ice!

We took the boys ice skating for the first time while in New York. Cole enjoyed it for about 10 minutes and Sawyer (18 months) was dragged off the ice by his mommy and daddy after an hour of skating! It looks like we may be in for early morning hockey practices with Sawyer!

Skateboarding Party!

Skateboard and smiles!

Cake time!

Happy Birthday Gavin (in the green helmet)!
Three feet of snow didn't stop us from venturing out to Talent Skate park for Gavin's 5th Birthday Party! Gavin is a pal of Cole's that lives 2 doors down from Nana, who just like Cole, is very interested in skateboarding. Ken and I decided after only a few minutes that we are not ready to host a skateboarding party...not to relaxing having a room full of preschoolers flying around on skateboards!
